November Club Meeting October 10, 2014

The November club meeting will be held on November 6 at 7pm at the home of Dan and Deb Tiernan, 198 The Hill, Proctorsville. Come share in the discussions on trails, membership, and work parties. All members welcome.

Election of Officers
October 10, 2014

There was an election of officers held on October 6 to fill several positions for the 2014-2015 year. Our officers are now as follows:

  • President: JP Carlisle
  • Vice Presidents: Dan Tiernan and Joe Marini
  • Secretary: Deb Tiernan
  • Treasurer: Dot Ramsdell There are also several committees.
  • Trails Coordinators are Joe Marini, Dan Tiernan, and Russ Walsh.

Thank you Landowners

The Cavendish Green Mountain Snow Fleas Snowmobile Club would like to extend our sincere thank you to all the landowners who have allowed their land to be a part of the VAST snowmobile trail system. Your generosity in allowing the use of your land is an essential part of offering the length and diversity of our trail system to the snowmobile travelers in Vermont.

Summer Planning Meeting and Cookout March 14, 2014

There will be a cookout at the home of Woody and Gail Woods on 16 Parker Avenue, Proctorsville on June 21 at 4 pm. Bring a dish to share and your own beverage, hot dogs and hamburgs will be provided by the club.

Our club will celebrate Woody and Gail Woods and recognize their many years of service. Plans for next year will be discussed. Come honor Woody and Gail, help us plan the year, and enjoy the company. All area snowmobilers welcome!

Election of Officers Held
March 14, 2014

Election of Officers for 2014-2015 was held this week. The officers are: President JP Carlisle, Vice President Darryl Stowell, Secretary Deb Tiernan, Treasurer (open). Trails Coordinators are Joe Marini, Dan Tiernan, and Russ Walsh.

Club to Host Windsor County Pot Luck
March 14, 2014

Cavendish Snowfleas will host the Windsor County Pot Luck Supper at the Cavendish School of Rt. 131 in Proctorsville on Tuesday, April 8 at 6 pm. Club members are asked to volunteer to help serve. Call Gail Woods to offer your help.

Colby Pond Off Limits!
January 10, 2014

Do not ride across Colby Pond on Route 12! This is a state regulation, not a Snowflea rule. You MUST use the trail going around Colby Pond. Hefty fines will be given out if you are caught crossing. Please obey the posted signs. No one wants to pay a fine.
